I figured out a sneaky way to get 35 fast comments on one of my youtube videos.  Pretty cool and cheap little strategy, though do it at your own risk because it turns out Google is pretty smart and might catch on to what you’re doing.

If you’re not generating at least half of your new members and clients from word of mouth and member referrals, then you’re not implementing the right kind of referral program.  Learn a slick way to get more referrals in this episode.

Don’t you just hate when you oversleep?  This week’s Killer Resource will make sure that never happens again.  Listen as a Robot volunteers to punch me in the face if I don’t wake up!

The strategy I share was supposed to be used leading up to Christmas, but luckily it can be used at any time of year.  It’s a cool way to make some fast money at your fit biz with very little effort.

    The gift cards definitely work. I’ve had a gift card come in nearly 5 months after I handed them out, the new client told me that she kept it in her wallet and didn’t want to use it until she recovered from knee surgery. Now tell me a coupon or mailer that holds that value?!?

    We are in a small town (30,000 people). Just a couple of small gyms. Anytime fitness opened, 40 per month compared to our 47 eft price. We are bleeding members to them. Any suggestions?

  27. I love the gift card. It seems it could be used at the point of sale once every other closing technique has been tried then you could ask them “If I could get you a better deal then would you join today” If they say yes then you could say you need to talk to someone else (T.O) and they bring in the gift card and close the sale.

  29. For the giftcard idea, what if members want to purchase them and use them for themselves?

      Hey Jordan, That’s why we have fine print on the back of the card. We recommend in addition to things like “To be used toward fitness membership only. Entire amount on card must be used in one visit. New members only. Some restrictions apply.” or similar. Now if you get a separate giftcard to get your existing members to try your profit centers, you will adjust your fine print accordingly.
