star_3In this week’s episode I share with you why I think it is the perfect time for you to start a fitness boot camp as a profit center at a gym or as a standalone business, a Killer Resource where you can post articles that will help hundreds, maybe thousands, of people find you, and some new results of the membership pricing model I introduced to you a couple months ago.

Websites and Resources Mentioned in the Show:

Is it the right time to start a fitness boot camp business?  Does a one-legged duck swim in a circle????  It is absolutely the best time to build a fitness bootcamp, either as part of your existing health club or gym, or as a standalone business.  The profitability of this business is staggering.  I share with you the strategies of some of the most successful fitness bootcamp owners.

You may not like to write, but surely after listening to me drone on and on about “Google Juice”, you understand the importance of keyword rich articles and backlinks to your site.  This week’s Killer Resource is the absolute best place for you to submit your fitness articles.

What a great little gem I stumbled upon as far as pricing is concerned.  I shared with you the results of an online survey I did a few months ago, well in this week’s episode I reveal the results of two real-world strategies utilizing the pricing model.  You might want to test this out in your price presentation as well because you may be leaving lots of money on the table otherwise!

As always your thoughts are appreciated. Please leave a comment below that will benefit the other viewers AND will get you noticed by Google. Enjoy the show!

    • Bootcamps are a definate boost for bringing in a revenue stream and they are HOT right now!…I started both my studio and bootcamps at the same best strategy was a local coupon magazine and free ads in local free newspaper….that and word of mouth referrals.

    • Hey Curtis,

Great show. I really enjoyed this episode. But I don’t think I will be trying that recipe of yours. LOL. I’ll pass. And thanks for the great tips.

    • I was wondering how some of the gyms have structured their boot camps. Are you charging extra, are you letting non-members participate, do they pay more? Any input would be great.

    • Great info. Curtis! Especially the part about me….. haha! I’m not pompous, just awesome!

But on a real note, This is amazing information! If you take one pointer an episode your business will explode!

      Thanks for being you Curtis

    • Curtis,

Great show! this was my first time viewing it. there was a great amount of useful information. You got my attention with the recipe. I tried it, not bad at all compared to my PBJ and egg sandwich. ha ha

    • Curtis,

You’re a G. Great stuff; I hadn’t visited your site in a while and WOW! Very nice. Congratulations.

    • Great show yet again. Not so sure about the recipe but I’m going to make it with my 4yr old this weekend. We will see what she thinks about it.

I also have a boot camp. Karen we run our boot camp out of the gym but you do not have to be a member to join. we charge the same fee for all that join. It is a 6 week progam and we have session that are 3 and 2 days a week. Boot camp is a great money maker right now. I love it.

    • Curtis,

      Great info man!

And to echo what Mr. Krebsicle said, if you just implement ONE of the things they heard on the show today they will have a booming Fitness Boot Camp business in no time!

Just go out and make it happen!

And for the record the true BAMF is my Bro Rob! But you already knew that!

      Keep spreading the knowledge!

Great episode! I would like to incorporate your pricing model at my gym. I have a few questions about it. Your sample pricing model was: $39 for membership; $149 for PT; and $149 for membership + PT. (1) Did your client/gym include an enrollment fee in the first option? The other 2 options? (2) If we have a membership PIF option, how do you reconcile that with the above EFT model? I do not want to offer too many rate options and confuse the prospect.
      (3) If the new member opted to merely take the monthly membership with no PT (the $39/mo deal) did your client/gym manage to hand the new member over to the PT dept. and did the PT dept successfully sell any training packages? Do you have stats? If so, did your pricing model have any effect on the PT dept’s ability to sell PT packages? Thank you!

    • Hi Curtis. we are planning to start a new fitness facility in the next 4-6 months and need software to help manage memberships, class attendance, personal training schedules, email newsletters, ability for members to sign up and pay online.
We would prefer a web based system so that we can access from anywhere. Do you have any reviews or recommendation please?
      Much appreciated. Love your show!
